PRAY FOR OUR PRIESTS: This week’s intentions: (Sun) Fr. Theodore Nnorom; (Mon) Fr. Moses Nwosu; (Tues) Fr. James Panikulam; (Wed) Fr. Francis Pudicherry; (Thurs) Fr. Umberto Rizzi; (Fri) Fr. Rey Ronquillo; (Sat.) Fr. Ron Rovago.

Today’s readings speak of hospitality. Abraham, who cheerfully did for his guests all that desert hospitality required, was rewarded with his heart’s desire - a son. Martha also busied herself with all the details of hospitality, but grudgingly and with complaint. Am I a cheerful or a grudging giver?

BAPTISM: Grace Morgan Bisignano was baptized in the Lord. Congratulations to her family.

XVI DOM. TEMPO ORD. 18 luglio 2010

It has been a pleasure and a joy for me to assist Fr. Dan at St. Dominic’s as the various occasions demanded. He and all the parishioners made me feel most welcome over the years. St. Dominic’s is a vibrant parish and the assistance I was able to provide during Christmas, Easter, the weekend Masses and other liturgical activities, has provided me with valuable experience that I am sure will benefit me with my new parish responsibilities. Please consider this as an open invitation to visit St. Patrick’s any time you may be in Quebec City. Blessings to all, Fr. Allan Savage.
